  1. Download from the link above
  2. Double-click to unzip
  3. Drag to your Applications/ folder
  4. Open the app
  5. Click "Open" on the confirmation dialog: Lucifer open dialog
  6. Click "OK" on the security dialog: Lucifer security dialog
  7. Lucifer should now be running and you should see its icon in your menu bar
  8. Right-click the icon to Quit

If Lucifer is not working, it is likely because the app does not have the correct permissions. Open System Preferences and navigate to "Security & Privacy" > "Privacy" > "Automation" and ensure you have allowed Lucifer access to "System Events" by checking the box.

If this does not work, try deleting and re-installing the app.
